Saanich Police says a stretch of the northbound lanes on Freeway 17 in Saanich are shut down, after a crash involving a pedestrian.
Shortly after 8:30 p.m. Friday evening, police posted to the social media platform ‘X’ that visitors analysts had been on the scene within the 5100 block of the Patricia Bay Freeway for a “critical crash”.
The placement is close to Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park.

Few different particulars have been launched, however northbound visitors coming from Saanich had been being directed east onto Haliburton Street.
The southbound lanes of Freeway 17 are clear.
