A nationwide advocacy group says the Jewish neighborhood is offended and harm by the exit of Selina Robinson from the B.C. cupboard over remarks that Israel was based on “a crappy piece of land.”

Nico Slobinsky, Pacific vice-president of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, says Robinson’s elimination undermines the Jewish neighborhood’s confidence in British Columbia’s authorities and alerts that Jewish leaders are held to totally different requirements than others.

Slobinsky says in a press release that the Jewish neighborhood has misplaced a powerful advocate for the neighborhood at a time of accelerating acts of antisemitism and anti-Israel protests.
