Surroundings Canada has issued a fog advisory for East Vancouver Island on Saturday.

The climate workplace warns that “close to zero visibility” could happen within the dense fog, which is smothering East Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast and the Southern Gulf Islands.

The fog is predicted to linger Saturday night earlier than lifting in a single day.

The advisory comes at some point after Surroundings Canada lifted its snow and freezing rain warnings for many elements of Vancouver Island.
