It’s an thrilling weekend for curling followers on Vancouver Island, with the lads’s and ladies’s B.C. Curling Championships underway in Esquimalt.

On Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 27 and 28, CHEK will likely be broadcasting stay from the Archie Browning Sports activities Centre.

Beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, CHEK’s Stacey Ross and Jeff King will likely be overlaying the ultimate qualifying video games for each the lads’s and ladies’s competitions.

Then at 7 p.m., the pair will likely be overlaying the lads’s and ladies’s semi-finals video games at Archie Browning.

CHEK will return to the world on Sunday, when the provincial finals will happen, with ladies throwing their first rocks at 9 a.m., adopted by the lads’s video games at 2 p.m.

The winners of this weekend’s provincial championships will go on to symbolize B.C. on the Scotties Match of Hearts in Calgary, AB, in February and on the Brier Cup in Regina, SK in March.
