Biking Canada has banned Alexander Amiri from its actions and occasions after an Abuse-Free Sport adjudicative panel discovered the highway bicycle owner breached the group’s code of conduct.

Biking Canada mentioned in an announcement Friday that Amiri, a 27-year-old from Victoria, is completely ineligible from collaborating as a coach, athlete, volunteer or spectator.

The group mentioned the panel discovered that Amiri breached varied sections of the 2021 Biking Canada Code of Conduct and Ethics.

Biking Canada turned a signatory of the Abuse-Free Sport Program, an unbiased program to forestall and deal with maltreatment below the Workplace of the Sport Integrity Commissioner, in December 2022.

Amiri represented British Columbia on the 2017 Canada Video games.
