Mounties in Campbell River say they seized a shotgun from a person who is understood to police early Monday morning.
RCMP say they had been referred to as to a house on We Wai Kai First Nations land round 6 a.m. for a report of a person “packing a case with what seemed to be a rifle in it.”
Mounties had been informed that the person entered a house close to the Quinsam Shell gasoline station, simply off the Inland Island Freeway (Freeway 19).
