Attorneys for Michael McLeod say the New Jersey Devils ahead has been charged with sexual assault in connection to allegations involving Canada’s 2018 world junior hockey workforce.

David Humphrey and Seth Weinstein of Toronto regulation agency Greenspan Humphrey Weinstein mentioned in a press release that McLeod has been charged by police in London, Ont.

The legal professionals say McLeod will plead not responsible and can “vigorously defend the case.”

The proof within the case has not been examined in courtroom.

McLeod is one among 5 gamers from Canada’s 2018 world junior squad who not too long ago went on indefinite go away from their professional golf equipment amid a report that 5 members of that roster had been requested to give up to face sexual assault expenses.

A lawyer for former NHL participant Alex Formenton confirmed Sunday that his consumer has been charged in reference to the case, and mentioned Formenton would plead not responsible.
