The mayor of a small Quebec city about 95 kilometres northeast of Montreal says a wild turkey that for weeks sowed terror amongst his residents was killed this morning by a person armed with a slingshot.

The turkey’s dying adopted Louiseville Mayor Yvon Deshaies’ public name this week for somebody to take down the aggressive fowl, which he says attacked a person in a wheelchair and led households to concern bringing their children to high school.
