Nordstrom shares jumped over 10% on Tuesday after talks of the retailer contemplating going non-public surfaced.

The division retailer chain’s founding household is working with funding banking companies Morgan Stanley and Centerview Companions to gauge whether the firms are interested in a deal, Reuters reported.

Talks of a deal haven’t been confirmed. Nordstrom final thought of going non-public in 2018.

The information comes shortly after the retailer reported a subdued gross sales outlook for 2024, in which it said its sales could continue to decline.
