RCMP is asking the general public to maintain a watch out for a Nanaimo man who was final seen in Vernon in late January.

Police are trying to find 50-year-old Wade Haines, who missed a scheduled medical appointment in early February. His absence has prompted issues for his security and well-being, police say.

Mounties say investigators confirmed that Haines was in Vernon on Jan. 28.

“At the moment, Haines apparently indicated that he might attempt to make his option to Manitoba,” mentioned Nanaimo RCMP in a launch Thursday. “So far, this can’t be confirmed and his present whereabouts are unknown.”

Haines is described as a white man who stands 6’2” and weighs 210 kilos. He has brief brown hair and hazel eyes. Mounties say the photograph of him is taken into account current.

Anybody with info on Haines’ whereabouts is requested to name the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
