Nanaimo RCMP is asking the general public to maintain a watch out for a wished man who skipped a number of courtroom dates.

Police are looking for 31-year-old Jordan Mackie, who’s accused of stealing a truck after which setting it on fireplace alongside one other suspect.

The incident occurred in November 2023, when police say Mackie and one other particular person stole a truck and trailer from a landscaping firm.

The pair then drove the truck to a distant location and set it ablaze, based on Nanaimo RCMP.

Mackie and the opposite suspect fled the world on foot however had been tracked down by a police canine.

Mackie was charged with arson, possession of stolen property and theft over $5,000.
