Police in Delta, B.C., say they’re investigating a theft of a transport container that contained hundreds of {dollars} value of electrical bicycles.
Delta Police say a pair of suspects confirmed up at a warehouse lot on Annacis Island March 19 round 1 a.m. in a semi-trailer, connecting the container to the truck and driving away “inside minutes.”
Police say the transport container had 150 Biktrix electrical bicycles inside, and the theft was recorded by safety cameras exhibiting the container being pushed away.
Investigators say their efforts have been “difficult” by the corporate, which posted on social media concerning the theft asking for neighborhood assist and doubting the investigation will flip up the stolen items.
Biktrix founder Roshan Thomas says in a video posted to Fb that the theft was a “intestine punch” as a result of the container was crammed with the corporate’s new flagship Juggernaut e-bikes, and prototypes for different upcoming fashions.
Thomas says he doesn’t have excessive hopes that police can recuperate the bikes, however says the distinctive design of the Juggernaut will make them simple to identify, hoping the general public will contact police in the event that they see one on the road.
